My Testimony

Hello Everyone, my name is Casual and this is my personal testimony. I had a health scare and it motivated me to get moving and get serious with my health. When I first started my weight loss journey I was around 207 pounds, bigger than I was at 9 months pregnant with my daughter. I knew I had to do something. I was Pre-diabetic and my blood pressure was through the roof! My blood pressure was always around 180/120 or higher. My head would be pounding and my vision blurry on a daily basis. I went to the doctor and they prescribed me with four different medications but I didn’t want that for my life at only 27 years old.I was always tired, grumpy, and irritated. I would be out of breath just from walking to my car, to my front door and let's not talk about the steps.
Fast forward to today, I currently workout at least 4 times a week by jump roping, walking/jogging at a steady pace, and low to high impact cardio. I used to hate working out now I love the feeling afterwards. I used to eat when I was bored, happy, sad, or depressed. I would eat and cook for no reason, and if you know me, you know I love to cook and feed other people!
I changed my eating routine to only eating on a time schedule by fasting. I prefer to do the 16:8 method. I don’t eat empty carbs or over 40 grams of carbs a day. My protein intake is higher and I only eat healthy fats!! YES, FATS are good for you!!!! Most importantly I don’t eat sugar, breads, soda, or juice!! I drink at least 74 to 128 ounces of water every day. Remember, water is your best friend! Also, I make sure my gut is cleansed!
If I can do it then I know you can! You got this! 💪🏾 I still have a ways to go until my goal weight but I’m proud of my progress thus far. My goal is to take my passion of cooking and help others achieve their nutritional goals and give them the freedom of choice by providing flavorful healthy meals that won’t bore you. I’m here to assist and put your mind at ease. I’m proud of you for showing up for your health, give yourself a pat on the back!
